JURESS BRODHEAD
Juress Brodhead, age
30, last known address Troy, New York, pled guilty on Friday to Criminal Sale
of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree in Ulster County Court.
From June through
October of 2013, defendant arranged sales and/or sold cocaine on at least ten
(10) separate occasions to a confidential informant. The sales were surveilled
by members of the Kingston Police Department Narcotics Unit. As a result of
this investigation, an Ulster County Grand Jury returned a twenty count sealed
indictment for possession with intent to sell and sales. Five (5) other co-defendants, who acted at
the behest of Brodhead, were also charged in said indictment.
Brodhead has a prior
criminal history that includes Burglary, Robbery and various misdemeanor
convictions. He is scheduled to appear before the Honorable Donald A. Williams
for sentencing on April 4, 2014.
